Out of Nothing was a Pensacola ska-punk band active mainly from 2004 into the late 2000s/early 2010s. They began as The Usual Suspects, then changed their name in 2005 after discovering the name conflicted with a Bryan Singer film title. [Pensapedia]

They were part of the local punk/ska circuit and played regional events including the Local Rock Summit, Big Rock Show, Vans Warped Tour, and National Rock Summit. Their bills included bands such as Bomb the Music Industry!, The Toasters, Flatfoot 56, No Torso, and Cruiserweight.

Their last performance date is a little murky: the local history source notes reports pointing to either 2009 or 2012. Their music is still purchasable online; a PensacolaCoPilot member recently flagged their release Everyone Perishes on Amazon Music.
