Question
What festivals are coming up
Answer
Here are the upcoming Pensacola-area festival-style events I’d put on your radar, based on current local event listings as of Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026:
This weekend — Aug. 7–9, 2026
- Pensacola Splash Fest — Community Maritime Park
Family-friendly waterfront summer event. Good pick if you have kids or want something outdoors. - Pensacola Greek Fest
Food, pastries, dancing, church/community culture — usually one of the better “eat your way through it” local festivals. - DaneToberfest
Beer/fall-festival energy, despite the August timing. - Glass Pumpkins / glass art events
More artsy and browse-friendly; good if you want something indoors-ish or less chaotic. - Dragon Boat Races
Waterfront, team-race atmosphere — best if you like an active, spectator-friendly event.
Source mention: these were listed in a current Pensacola Beach August events roundup and local event chatter for this weekend: Pensacola Beach August Events 2026.
Later in August
- Electric Garden at Perfect Plain Brewing Co. — Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026
A festival-style event with local vendors, performances, interactive experiences, GA/VIP ticket options, and a downtown brewery setting. I’d pick this one if you want more of an adult evening/social vibe. Listed in the August/September regional calendar: Emerald Coast Magazine calendar.
Ongoing summer event worth knowing
- Bands on the Beach — Tuesdays, 7–9 p.m., Pensacola Beach Gulfside Pavilion, through Sept. 29, 2026
Not technically a festival, but it feels like a weekly beach gathering. Free, casual, and very local. Bring chairs/blankets and expect parking to be the main hassle.
My quick pick: Greek Fest if you want food + culture, Dragon Boat Races if you want waterfront energy, and Electric Garden if you want a younger downtown festival vibe.
👉 Are you looking for something more family-friendly, food-focused, or more like music/beer/nightlife?
