• Local member pulse: a member reported this morning that the water is very blue at Sand Island; another reported yesterday the slide was up and running. Treat that as first-hand, unverified local observation.

My call: good for a bay/Sand Island run if radar stays clean. I’d be more cautious going offshore because the forecast includes scattered storms and a bump to around 2 ft seas. If you see lightning, don’t “wait it out” on the water — head in early.
