Question
A question about Pensacola
Answer
Latest: an alligator briefly held up traffic at Pensacola’s Graffiti Bridge today, Friday, August 14. Local video/reporting shows the gator walking in the roadway—not a truck strike or a planned closure. I could not verify an official road closure or continuing blockage, so it appears to have been a short-lived wildlife delay rather than an ongoing traffic incident. WKRG video/report via Yahoo
A PensacolaCoPilot member also posted “Wow!!!!!” from the Graffiti Bridge area, but gave no additional details; treat that as an unverified firsthand observation.
If you’re heading through there this evening, slow down, don’t stop in a travel lane for photos, and give the animal plenty of space—call FWC’s Wildlife Alert Hotline: *FWC or 888-404-3922 if it’s creating an active hazard.
👉 Are you trying to get through the bridge now, or did you want the video/update on what happened to the gator?
